My sister sent me this...
How sweet it is
I grew up in Ohio and I was a Michigan fan. Every year we would watch the Ohio State -Michigan game. My dad and I would route for The Big Blue-Michigan and my brothers and mother would route for the other team (that's what we called them).
Then when I moved to Louisiana and went to my first LSU game, against Auburn, I sat in the student section and LSU won the game in the last seconds. The place went crazy. From that point on I was a LSU fan.
My mother and brothers are still Ohio State fans. My dad still routes for Michigan, but he has a lot of LSU shirts and stuff from when he comes to visit. And he says he watches the games on T.V. So he will soon be a LSU fan.

Cooled from Ohio
Now the reason I in Ohio is that my step mother bought me a airline ticket to come up here for a surprise my dad for his birthday and she was having a party for him. Right now he does not know I'm here. We are gonna surprise him at the party. I will let you know how it goes later now we gotta talk some LSU football. I think that LSU will win and win big. They out match the Old Miss Redels big time and in the past they always play LSU very tuff, but not this time
My score is LSU 56 Old Miss 9

Hope
Now to the game tonight I think that LSU will beat Auburn and beat them good. LSU had a bad game last week and will be ready to play. Cox will meet the ground in Tiger Stadium a few times and the defence will score tonight.
LSU 34
Auburn 10

Wake up call.
Cal also lost and that's the first time that the top two teams lost on the same day since 1996. I think that LSU will go down to maybe 5th or 6th and this will not hurt them to bad. The wildcat were ranked #17 in the polls and they will probably go to #14 or 13th. I hope that they win out and make it to the SEC Camp. Game and that LSU gets a rematch. Because LSU will win the rest of there game. This just may be the wake up call that they needed.

Tulane
Nike has introduced a set of limited edition jerseys and other apparel with part of the proceeds from sales earmarked for assisting the youth of New Orleans. Worn by both teams, the uniforms will feature a special pelican emblem designed by Nike. The Pelican emblem is a tribute to the state bird and stylistically resembles the Phoenix, a symbol of the City’s rebirth. The emblem will be one of several new additions to Nike’s LSU and Tulane products, which will be on sale at the game and in select retail locations throughout the US. Proceeds from the sale of this product will go towards Nike’s Let Me Play New Orleans fund to help rebuild New Orleans through Sport.
My score LSU 62
Tulane 3

LSU and Middle Tenn. State Game
O.K. Evangeline and I went to the LSU game sat. night. She was great she had to go to the tailgate party with me (I work the tailgate for Coke) and there were no kids there so she was bored out of her mind. But I think she had fun at the game. We got the tickets for Coke so they were good seat. Half way thu the 4th quarter we went down to the seats right behind the LSU bench. She thought that was so cool. Now she did play the Gameboy some during the game but that o.k.
Here are some video I took of the game I think it's pretty cool.
Now it's time for South Carolina. I think that LSU will beat them pretty bad if it rains like they say it is . There run defence is not good at all. There like 92th in the nation in run defence. They don't have much of a passing game. So I think the game will be good for the first qaurter or half way thru the 2nd. Then it will get ugly.

Dog Fighting
Now I listen to a lot of talk radio and I hear a lot of people calling in that say this is a race thing. That its a southern thing that its not that big of deal. I don't think that and here is why. I think he is the biggest name that has been busted on this. So that's why it so big in the news and talk radio. If you read some of the stuff he's charged with you will see it is a big deal. Some of the people that are backing Vick just are using him like his people that rolled on him. So they can get there name on the radio or news. He will be the poster boy for this.
Now I think that Vick could be used by the NFL to show players that leave school early for the money and fame what can happen when you hang with the wrong people. I think they need to make them stay in school longer or set a cap on what a rookies can make there first or second year in the league.

Vancouver,Canada ?
I started to look up stuff on Vancouver and I did not find much on it. So when our team met at the church on sat. July 7 to head to the airport I didn't know what to think.
Our team was as followed : Screen-saver (Kevin J), Chris Angle (Craig B), T-Money (Tony G), Drop it like it hot Wilkerson (Kerry), The Midget Trainer ( Shawn W), Lamar-Lenard (Lamont B), G P S (Trent S), Hope B, Joe-David and Emily W, Shaun and Lynn R, Jason D, and myself.
We flew into Seattle then drove into Vancouver. When we got to the hotel it was 2:30am (Thanks Shaun) and we had to be at the church at 10am. We made it there just a little late, but we made it.
On the way to the church we got are first taste of what we had in store for us. We passed a part of the city they call "Skid Row" and at one of the corners they had a bunch of people doing drugs and one lady was tripping out on something. This street was right down from a police station.
We got with the Pastor of the church we were partnering with for the soccer camp and he took us to where the camp would be held, all of us were like "oh my goodness!" The soccer field that we would be holding the camp on was the same turf stuff that the Saints play on and The B C Lions, The CFL Football team that won Grey Cup last year (our version of the Super Bowl) was right next to the soccer field.
Now we were not sure how many kids were gonna show up to this camp. The pastor said they passed out about 50 or so fliers but had not got any back. But we know that some people will just show up to the camp. Thanks HPC for preparing us for that. We had a little meeting and prayer that night and went to bed.
Monday morning we made it to the site and prayed over the field as we looked for needle's. We were told that there was an exchange house that people could take used needle's and get new ones. We checked the field everyday and never found any on the field. But we did find some by the entrance to the field. That day we had about 10 kids show up so we sent some of the crew out to the neighborhood and get some kids over. They went to parks and the mall and any where they could think of that day we had two more kids show up. After the camp we went back out and hit the neighborhood pool and some more parks and just walked the streets and handed out fliers.
That night we worked the soup kitchen not very far from were we had camp. The people that do it are called Night Shift, they have 30 different church's that help out and they serve food 365 days a year rain or shine. They do it all off donations. Carole ask me the other day what was my favorite thing about the trip and I told them it was when we work the soup kitchen. That night there was about 75 people that we loved on and served. We did the soup kitchen on Thursday night also..
More to come later

WOW JAM and Ultimate Fight Challenge
My plan was to leave there and go to the LSU Basketball game, but I had to give my neighbour the other tickets cuz' I didn't leave the WOW Jam until 8:30pm. Instead I went to a friends to watch the UFC on pay-per-view . The UFC fight was to start at 8:30pm, I made it to my friends just before the first fight.
It was 4 guys, we ate pizza and watch people beat the mess out of each other and after the fights they huge and thank each other for kicking there butts. The fighters enter the arena to music, you know, get you ready to fight music. Jeff Wells ask all of us "what song would you come into if you were fighting?" I said "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metalica. Kerry said "Back in Black" by AC/DC and Jeff said "Carry on My Wayward Son" by Kanasas.
What song would you come in too?

O.K. here are a couple of pic from the Sugar Bowl last night. I got to go with some people from the Church and had a great time. But let me tell you what I had to do to get to the game. Tuesday morning I was in Okeechobee, Fl. we were getting ready to go to Carole's brothers house that lives in a town about 1 hr away. We were gonna stay the night and get up really early and hit the road to come home so I could watch the game at a friends house. I get a call from Kerry Wilkerson ( a really good friend that goes to the church) and he had a extra ticket to the game and it was mine if I could get back. I had to talk to Carole about it because this was her part of our vacation. And she said lets drive thu the night, because she is the best wife in the world. So we went to her brothers house to visit and left that night at 11:40 pm and got to B.R. at 11:00 am. I drove most of the way because I could not sleep. I had to meet them at the church at 2:00pm, so I tried to take a power nap didn't happen.
It was well worth it to see LSU beat the Irish.
