Mr Rolfe's (Daddy Rolfe/Pastor )

Tara, Rolfe’s secretary sent this to Dan so I stole it.

The way Rolfe is explaining the broken arm to the folks at the business report. thought y’all’d enjoy it:
Top 10 Explanations for the Broken Arm:

10. Chronic Blackberry overuse weakened the bones, and when the flight reached altitude of 35,000 feet it spontaneously fractured.

9. Snapped during a safari tour by a local Swazilander who kept hitting him in the arm in the exact same spot repeatedly and asking ‘Huh? Tigaz! Huh? Lions! Huh? Rhinocerous! Huh?’

8. Attacked by a crocodile after getting too close and taunting, “Tiger bait! Tiger bait!”

7. It was crushed when cargo shifted on the plane – apparently he stacked too many boxes of “Our Way” leaflets to distribute to villagers.

6. Tussled with local activists after suggesting he could do a better job running their
believeInSwaziland.org web site.

5. Let’s just say the McCollister driving style is not as effective when weaving through hundreds of pedestrians and hippos.

4. Tried to take his signature ‘Moon Walk’ to another level by walking on his hands.

3. Broke it after he triggered a brawl when he offered local tribal chiefton an ill-advised food offering of his mom’s homemade “
White Trash."

2. It’s not actually broken—it’s merely a so-called “Mule cast” to conceal contraband.

And the number 1 explanation:

Tara, astounded he somehow managed to get his Blackberry to work from the jungle, hired a Swazi warrior hit man to “please, for the love of all that is good, break his Blackberry hand.”

Pretty Boy

O.K. When I saw who was going on this trip I thought "oh great a bunch of teenagers that we are gonna have to watch this whole trip". Boy was I wrong about that. We had no problems at all with anybody.Think about this there were 30 people ages 15 to Rolf (LOL-Don't know how old Rolf is). And there were no fights, no getting on any buddies nerves. Now if that's not God I don't now what is.

This is Rolf..

All the teenagers were great for teenagers. they never complained about anything they were told to do. They loved on some baby's and were just great.

Now one of the teenage boy stood out to me more then the others and that was Paul (The pretty boy) Musso. He was on my team for the basketball camps.

First let me tell you why I gave him the nickname. It was the 2nd day of camps and we were going to have tea with the Principal and Teachers of the school. I was the last one to go up and some of the kids asked me to sign their wrist bands that we gave out. So as I was signing one girl looked at me and said "can you give this to Paul (handing me her wrist ban) and have him sign it for me?" so I took it and then she said "oh and have him kiss it". So like any grown 35 year old man would do I gave it back to her and said "I will go get him for you". Then I went inside and told everyone. Paul went out and the girls (by this time there were more of them) went CRAZY (like the old video of the Beatles) They chased him around screaming. Even the kids at the care points looked at him different. We also heard some of the girls at the school walking back to there class saying that Paul had shook there hands and they were not going to wash them.

Some of the kids from the school.

Paul in blue in the middle of the group.

He's not only pretty but he's a great kid. I'm glad he was on my team and I got to know him better.

We are having so much fun here. We did our 2nd day of camps and had a great turn out. The kids just love us and had us sign there shirts and wristbands, then they signed our shirts.

Swaziland reminds me of Ohio, the landscape and the weather.

Dream center ASAP field trip

O.K. Yesterday I got to go to the very first field trip for the A.S.A.P. program. We went to the Louisiana Arts and Science Museum. We took around 26 kids and we had a pretty good time for taking a bunch of kids from the "hood" to an Art Gallery. We got to see a movie called "Hurricane on the Bayou" and that was cool. We ate Chick-Fil-a on the leavee.

Craig said when they told us we could not touch the art work that he wanted to, so how are we gonna stop theses kids? BUT A lady that worked at the museum said these kids were better then a lot of other kids that come through there on school field trips.

Give it up for the ASAP kids!!

The bus ride..

Lunch on the leavee...

Tashian and Robert posing..

But the best thing that happened was before we left Winbourne.

When E and I pulled up to the Dream center at 9:45am most of the kids where already there and they didn't need to be there until 10:30am. E and I started talking to them and someone said that Jordon was walking down the street. (Jordan and Karon along with Kayron's brother Dominique were in a fight last week at After school)

I looked at Kayron and his brother and said "are you guys cool?"

Kayron looked up at me with his big eyes and said "You know the bible says that you have to forgive so I forgave him"

and I said "thats right" (thinking we got to him)

then he said this "Now, I'm still gonna beat him up but I forgive him."

That's Kayron, you got to love him.

gotta go.

Evangeline is NOT bathing so I can go to Africa

NOT bathing for Africa

This is me, Evangeline Turner all clean by Africa cookies and an Africa cake I made.

Soon I will not be clean and it will be for a good cause.

Because my dad, Dean Turner is going to Swaziland Africa on a missions trip with Sports Ministry to help the new HPC Campus get set up there.

They help Orphans there through that campus and Children's Cup. I love all the Orphans in the whole world and I want to help them so now I can do that through my dad going there to help.

My dad needs $3800.00 to do it.

SO I have decided to ask YOU to sponsor me NOT to bath!

That's right. I am gonna stink!

If you go to
HPC you will remember that I got $45.00 for not bathing for three days and especially for not bathing after I was baptised in the duck-poop filled pond behind HPC.

Click
HERE to read all about that on my moms blog.

After that we were talking to Pastor Johnny Green about it and he said I should use that as a fund raiser. I think he was just joking But we all thought that was a good idea.

So, I figured I could ride that "she's the girl that didn't bath" fame and use it to raise money for my dad to go on this missions trip.

I think Jesus would really like this idea, I hope He is happy with it and I hope he gets YOU to sponsor me.

This is how it will go;

Sunday March 16th I will take a shower and get all clean,

He has to have $1200.00 by April 15th (then I can bathe)
then $1000.00 by May 6th ( I will get to bathe again)
and another $1300.00 by June 10th (I will go back to bathing again)

So, you could like sponsor me for $1.00 a day, or $100.00 a day or just one amount for that time. Which ever you want.

Get it? Kinda confusing but like a game.

I could get really stinky. There will be 30 days between March 16th and April 15th, 21 days between that and May 6th and 35 days between that and June 10th!!! That's a long time not to bathe. Good thing I am home schooled and my mom can't smell. Bad thing for the people I sit by at Pathfinders and Old school.

My mom said after a couple weeks people will be throwing money at me TO bathe :-)

You know we just found out that my new brother Abel that we are adopting from Ethiopia, never even saw a bar of soap until he got to the foster home and he has still never used a toothe brush, so I will be able to kinda relate to him a little bit.

I just pray you will want to help me too and sponsor me NOT to bathe.

So E-mail me and let me know how many days, and the amount of sponsorship I can put you down for.

I will also be telling you all about my experience not bathing on my blog @

lilstinkye.blogspot.com

I will go ahead and thank you now for helping and tell you God bless you.

Love (soon to be) Lil Stinky E

Happy New Years

O.K. I hope everybody has had a great New Years so far. Mine has been great. The family and I stayed at home on New Years Day. Didn't go anywhere. Just like Christmas Day. Here are some pic from Christmas Day feast we had. E and I did most of the cooking.

Everything turned out great as you can tell by this last pic.

On New Years Eve we went to our friend house and shot off some fireworks and played a mean game of Texas Hold em'

It came down to me and the card playing expert.

That right the lady that can't get in any Casino in Vegas.

That because she's only 9 years old...

That her talking to her daddy. Do you see who has all the chips? Its not me.

How sweet it is

O.K. When I went to bed Sat. night I knew that LSU was gonna play in New Orleans in Jan. But I never thought in would be the last game of the 2007 season for all the marbles. Better yet it's against the team that I have not liked most of my life.

I grew up in Ohio and I was a Michigan fan. Every year we would watch the Ohio State -Michigan game. My dad and I would route for The Big Blue-Michigan and my brothers and mother would route for the other team (that's what we called them).

Then when I moved to Louisiana and went to my first LSU game, against Auburn, I sat in the student section and LSU won the game in the last seconds. The place went crazy. From that point on I was a LSU fan.

My mother and brothers are still Ohio State fans. My dad still routes for Michigan, but he has a lot of LSU shirts and stuff from when he comes to visit. And he says he watches the games on T.V. So he will soon be a LSU fan.
